Terms of use

Draft of 31 October 2026, under legal review. oto is in testing and not yet publicly released.

1. Who can use oto. You must be 18 or older. One account per person; keep access to your email secure, since it is how you sign in.
2. Your content is yours. Your journeys, notes and photos belong to you. You let us store, process and copy them only as needed to run oto for you. If you publish a story, you let us show the parts you selected.
3. Use oto lawfully. Do not upload content you have no right to share, that breaks the law or harms others; do not try to access other people’s data or disrupt the service.
4. The service. oto is free and provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable (Profile → Download my data).
5. Ending your use. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
6. Changes. We will tell you in the app before material changes take effect.
